Post-procedural consultation 檢查後與醫生會面

Our doctor will arrange a post-procedural consultation with you if colonoscopy showed colonic polyps or other abnormalities such as cancer or inflammation. Our doctor will thoroughly explain the examination findings to you. If colonic polyp was detected and removed during colonoscopy, we will give advice on the optimal surveillance interval. If other diseases are detected e.g. cancer or inflammation of colon, we will refer you to the doctors who specialise in treating these diseases.

若在大腸鏡檢查中發現大腸瘜肉或其他不正常狀況，如癌症或炎症，我們會安排你在檢查後與醫生會面，醫生會向你詳細解釋檢查報告。如果在大腸鏡檢查中有發現及切除瘜肉，醫生會建議病人甚麼時候應作下一次大腸鏡檢查。若發現其他大腸疾病如大腸癌或炎症，醫生會轉介病人至專科作進一步治療。
